#asktheexperts my baby 1 and a half month old passes stool after every 2 days since 1 week and vomit after taking milk immediately sometimes after 20 min after 1 hr . what could I do to prevent this?

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initiallyt the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be davoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. hello breastfed baby will have less waste and can go without passing motion even for a week and if the baby is not passing motion even after a week then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
