Q.

#asktheexperts My 9 month old baby only sleeps in day or night if i breastfeed her. Rocking and swinging doesn't help. How to let her sleep by tapping at the back or rocking or just giving a swing ? Is this normal?

A. I don't know how this habit is formed because it wasn't intentional but she cries if I don't breast feed her and then during feeding she falls asleep. Is it okay to make her cry and leave her in jhula for sleeping? But my heart doesn't allow this . How can I break the habit? Thank you

A. Maybe you are making your child sleep in the same way from the beginning of the body gets used to with the child gets used to eat like how we like to have something in a particular way to break the habit you should start feeding the child in the sleeping position and feed accordingly so that your child can sleep and if you don’t want to feed that then just try to make your child sleep by passing the back over the period only the habit is going to change
