#asktheexperts my 6 month old is grunting a lot while passing urine and just few drops he passes and he is doing is very frequently like 4-5 time in an hr

If your six-month-old baby is grunting while passing urine, only passing a few drops, and doing so very frequently (4–5 times an hour), it could be a sign of urinary tract irritation or possibly a urinary tract infection (UTI). Babies with UTI may also show signs like discomfort, crying during urination, foul-smelling urine, or mild fever. It’s important to monitor his fluid intake and check for signs of dehydration or fever. You should consult your pediatrician promptly for a urine test to rule out infection or other urinary issues. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to prevent complications.
