#asktheexperts my 5 years baby had heavy cough...we use syrup but no difference...

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if thez cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . it is very important to give proper inhaler as well as proper method of nebulization for better recovery

A. hi parent.keep her well hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour when she's awake you may add very smal quantity of salt.into that water use simply purified water having tds higher than 350 don't use demineralised water for drinking keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
