A. You can try other sleep associations like cradles or mildly rock the baby in ur hand or shoulders. Again u will have to wean the usage of cradles at some point and the habit of holding before sleeping might be hard to break. Or u can use lullabies, calm soothing music or tuck in the baby to keep him warm (like swaddling) in a dimly lit room.
