#asktheexperts My 44 days old is having nasal congestion and coughing. Doc prescribed Saline Nasal spray & ascoril Ls for 3 days. It’s been 3 days now, should we continue ?

A. Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus Try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the moxst common cause of cough and cold in small children For fever and pain give paracetamol Continue the regular diet which is being given to the child
