A. Hi there, thank you for reaching out. It is concerning to hear that your baby has been passing green mucus stool for the last 7 days. It is always best to check with your pediatrician in such a situation. However, I just wanted to let you know that an exclusively breastfed baby can pass green mucus stool from time to time as the hindmilk and foremilk mix. This can be due to an imbalance of the milk supply. As for your baby's weight, it appears that he has doubled his birth weight, which is a good sign. Nonetheless, please do get in touch with your pediatrician to address any concerns regarding your baby's health.
