#asktheexperts My 2 month old daughter has laryngomalacia since the time she was born and she has stridor mostly during night time. She is otherwise healthy, feeds well and is gaining weight. When can I expect her laryngomalacia to go away completely?

A. Hello dear parent, this problem comes as a soft tissue over the voice box inside mouth which makes sound whole breathing in babies. This usually goes away on its own by age 1 year to 18 months. Do not worry much about it. But you can ask your paediatric also once. Good luck and
