it is usually present due to the throat mucus / thick saliva as well as respiratory secretions
which pass on from respiratory tract (parts of nasal cavity , oral cavity and throat) to the gastrointestinal tract by swallowing and then comes out through the anal canal mixed with the stool.
it may be present in less quantity durizng regular times and would be in more quantity during allergy as well as cough and cold in the child.
mucus in thze stool is also associated with gastrointestinal infections as a less constipation as well as indigestion.
treatment is usually given according to the cause

Then there could be one percent of possibility that your child could be suffering with stomach infection which is why you are saying mucus in to the motion of the child and that mostly happens when a child is going through a stomach infection so can you please talk to your paediatrician regarding this if they need to examine the child personally or need to get a stool test then go ahead with that as they can also advise antibiotics depending upon theWrite Your Answer Here
