#asktheexperts my 11 months old baby has suddenly stopped eating solids but is happy having juice,milk etc what maybe the reason?She has bit of congestion and is teething too. how can i make her eat again?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 11 months old now at this age baby has teething process which make chewing difficult so baby prefer semisolid to liquid feeds.so give gentle massage to gum and give a calcium and vitamin d supplement

No need to worry
It may be due to teething problems
Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk
Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals mashed potato mashed banana mashed sweet potato
Make meal time fun with toys and story
