#asktheexperts mera baby 4 months 21 days ka hai....usku halki khasi hai sirf subha aur raat me hoti hai...lkn sine me cough jama hai....saans lene me kabhi kabhi awaz ati hai...ye cough kaise theak hoga....

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a propeer evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reducde the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. Hi dear mom Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day. This will help in liquifying mucus and clear the chest congestion. Apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough
