A. Encourage storytelling and sharing information. Talk with her as much as possible and ask questions. Read books aloud n Sing to your child . Have your child play with kids whose language is a little better than theirs.

A. A 3-year-old who can comprehend and nonverbally communicate but can't say many words may have a speech delay. One who can say a few words but can't put them into understandable phrases may have a language delay.
