#AsktheExperts#Mamypoko Hello doctor My baby is coughing sometimes.She is having mucus in her poop and 2 times we have seen little bit blood in her poop also. Can you please suggest what to do

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Mucus in baby poop isn't always cause for concern. The intestines naturally secrete mucus to help stool pass more effectively through the intestines. Sometimes, a baby may pass some of this mucus in their stool without any underlying condition. The mucus can look like slimy streaks or strings.
