Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation seen in smaller babies specially below 8-10 months is very common and conserning . Avoidance of formula milk is required and cow's milk too should not be given before 1 year of age. In the diet avoid giving banana ragi and packed food Iron supplimentation can also cause constipation . Enzyme prceparation and stool softener are reqcuired if symptom are more and causing discomfort .

Give Really good amount of water coconut water and buttermilk to your child I think your child is having less water in the body which is why the motion is hard if there is a level of hydration maintained in the body then the motion would be easy and smooth for your
