Q.

#asktheexperts madam my son 7 months old sleeps on his tummy. I know that babies under 1yr should not sleep on their tummy. I turn him to sleep on his back but he goes to tummy position unknowingly. please help me

A. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy. (one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation). when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation. the important thing is that if the xchild is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as respiration and digestion problem then you can continue to let the child sleep as well as givex feeding in this position. but if you feel that the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child
