#asktheexperts Ma'am I am in my 34th week of pregnancy and my BP is 98/61, is it ok if my BP remains low

A. Always better to have low bp rather than having high bp recordings during pregnancy. In general the blood pressure levels are usually less during pregnancy due to the hormonal changes

A. It's always better to speak to your own OBG regarding such situations as she is the only one after you who knows better about your body and body changes. I feel that during pregnancy following random suggestions is not that recommended.

A. A lot of women face this kind of a challenge with the BP is really low so check with your doctor if you can consume a little extra salt and sugar in your diet which will help be maintaining your BP and what all is going to be essential to maintain your BP on a little higher side
