#asktheexperts Last week my baby’s weight increased from 4.4 kg to 4.5 kg (100 g), but in the next six days he went up to 5.8 kg — about 1.4 kg gain in just 6 days. He is on both breastmilk and formula. Is this kind of rapid weight gain normal?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 days agoA. Such a rapid gain in the weight of your child is not good and I think it’s because of the formula that you are giving so please check with your doctor if the total weight was like this in entire month it was still okay but this is not good
