#asktheexperts Ivaan sometimes sleeps for around 5-6 hours during night without demanding the feed. As I was following feed on demand method, I don’t wake him in middle of this sleep. But I’m worried if he’s underfeed during the night. Ivaan is 2 months and 8 days old. His weight is 7 kg

A. Dear mum, you should continue to feed on demand. There is no need to wake up and feed. If baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is adequate. Weight of 7 kg is on the higher side for 2 months old baby.
