Q.
#asktheexperts is walker needed for infants to walk? are they safe. what would you recommend for allowing or teaching infants to walk, post creeping?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. yes dnt use. walker is not given at all as it increases chances of baby fall and hence hip or leg injury can occur . Walking can develop from 1 year to 18 months of age so be patient . Also walker does not offer any encouragement for walking as a milestone to baby hence avoid use of walker for baby .
