#asktheexperts is MCV vaccine mandatory at 9 months or can be given later also. Our doctor has said to give MMR & MCV.

A. MCV vaccine is optional. But if it is affordable it is good to administer it to your baby as it can protect your baby against bacterial meningitis. So you can decide based on your situation.
