#asktheexperts Is it okay to start solids from the starting of fifth month if there is no sufficient breastmilk?

A. your baby should have completed six months for any other foods like water or juice or even any other food. This is because only milk provides all the necessary nutrients. And early solid foods will lead to stomach upset and constipation still if your baby has doubled birth weight you can

A. If your baby has doubled the birth weight they can. You have to first introduce to dal ka paani for a week than rice ka paani for a week ! Anything you introduce should be continued for atleast 4-5 days minimum ! Gradually you can introduce one one item
