#asktheexperts , is it ok to talk to the child in 2 different languages? or will it confuse the child?

A. Hello! It is absolutely okay and even beneficial to talk to your child in two different languages. Children do not get confused by multiple languages. They may occasionally mix words, but that is a normal part of bilingual development and it is not a sign of trouble. Growing up bilingual, enhance executive function, such as problem-solving, multitasking, and focusing as well.
