#asktheexperts Is it ok of bilirun level 10 for 5 day baby? and how can we cure jaundice?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes it's less there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice. normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.
