#asktheexperts is it normal for my 1 and 7 month old baby's legs to not be straight? his legs far apart and he often fall in down while walking

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. this type of of legs is totally normal. no treatment is required excsept proper diet. kindly continue vitamin d supplements if you are not taking the child in sunlight. if proper diet is being given then there is no need to worry about any calcium supplement. the cuarved legs/ bend legs usually take a normal shape by two years to three years of age. if in doubt then meet the doctor.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. It's considered a normal part of a child's growth and development. As a child starts walking, the bowing might increase a bit and then get better. Children who start walking at a younger age have more noticeable bowing. In most kids, the outward curving of the legs corrects on its own by age 3 or 4.
