#asktheexperts is it normal for my 1 and 7 month old baby's legs to not be straight? his legs far apart and he often fall in down while walking

A. this type of of legs is totally normal. no treatment is required excsept proper diet. kindly continue vitamin d supplements if you are not taking the child in sunlight. if proper diet is being given then there is no need to worry about any calcium supplement. the cuarved legs/ bend legs usually take a normal shape by two years to three years of age. if in doubt then meet the doctor.

A. It's considered a normal part of a child's growth and development. As a child starts walking, the bowing might increase a bit and then get better. Children who start walking at a younger age have more noticeable bowing. In most kids, the outward curving of the legs corrects on its own by age 3 or 4.
