#asktheexperts In Indian families, is it common to introduce solid foods after 5 months? Additionally, during Annaprashan (first rice-eating ceremony), is it advisable to give kheer (milk, rice, sugar) to a 5-month-old baby?"

A. Yes that’s right a lot of families people do it at the time of five months but people and families who were aware about the fact that the food should not be given under completing the age of six months they do the ceremony after the age of six months only so it’s totally your choice how do you want to proceed with it but we do not suggest you to start giving food before completing the time of six months you can also do the ceremony that time actually really doesn’t make a difference
