#AskTheExperts I'm taking my epilepsy medicine levera 1000(twice a day),Lacosam 100(twice a day) so is it safe to breastfeed my daughter or should I give her formula milk . Please tell me I'm really worried for her.

A. Namaste Mom, Would be ideal to check the same with your doctor who had prescribed the medicine, as many of them do mention in case it is contraindicated in such conditions.

A. Maam with the medicine that you are taking I am not certain that you should feed the child actually would not be healthy because of the medicines that you are taking a very heavy and mix into your blood and milk so I would suggest you crosscheck with your doctor ones if they suggest you feed otherwise I don’t think so it’s a very good idea to breastfeed the child
