#asktheexperts I m mother of 6 months baby, he is having and cough, but when he is sleeping his eyes having yellow discharge, why is it so, should I need to consult doctor

A. kindly maintain hygiene of the eyes and clean it with with clean water. e normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again.d use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. do not use any drops witout medical consultation

A. Eye discharge in babies Some newborns have tear ducts that are not fully developed. This can cause the ducts to become blocked. Babies with blocked tear ducts may have green or yellow mucus all day and not just when they wake up. This can usually be managed at home with warm compresses.
