A. For a 3-month-old baby who is exclusively breastfed or formula-fed, their primary source of nutrition should still be breast milk or formula. If you're returning to work and unable to bring your baby with you, you can consider the following options: 1. **Expressed Breast Milk or Formula**: Pumping breast milk before you leave for work and storing it properly for your baby's caregiver to feed while you're away. 2. **Formula Feeding**: If you're formula-feeding, prepare enough formula bottles for your baby's caregiver to feed throughout the day. 3. **Introducing Solids (if advised)**: At 3 months, babies typically aren't ready for solid foods yet, but if your pediatrician recommends it, you can start introducing single-grain infant cereal mixed with breast milk or formula around 4-6 months. It's essential to communicate with your baby's caregiver about feeding schedules, techniques, and any specific instructions regarding breast milk, formula, or solid foods. And remember, breastfeeding when you're together can still provide valuable bonding time and nutrition for your baby.
