Q.

#asktheexperts I have not got my periods back after delivery. Should I be concerned about that? My baby is almost 5 months and she is exclusively on breast feeding.

A. no need to worry about it. it's lactation Amenorrea.. common in lactation period. Continue Calcium supplement which is enrich with Vitamin D till you exclusive breastfeeding. Adequate fluids to stay hydrated which includes 2 to 3 liters per day.

A. Hi mom There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers tend to get periods late and as late as one year. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular. Take care
