#asktheexperts I had c section on 17th sep and my baby is on mix feed. Since last week I have got my periods and it's still going on after 8 days. Is it normal to get periods so early after delivery and for how long it will stay??

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 3 years agoA. Periods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. yes mom its completely normal to get periods after delivery infact its perfect that u have got ur cycle back so early and up and down in the periods after delivery is quite normal due to the hormonal changes in the body so it depends on individual
