#asktheexperts I got my periods very early when my baby was 3months old I feel my milk supply gets low during that time how can I increase milk supply any solution

A. It's natural for milk supply to slightly reduced during menstruation due to low level of prolactin hormone during that period. But it's nothing to worry over. It will be back to normal once your period is over. And in the meantime make sure you put your baby to breast more frequently if you're concerned about baby not being satiated. Remember the more they suckle more the brain knows baby is hungry and produces more prolactin and therefore milk.
