#asktheexperts I can wait for 2 days for him to poop as you said 5 days is normal but is crying a lot, too cranky, pushing his body too much against my stomach. Thank You.

Author of questionGuardian of a 4 yr 2 m old boy4 years agoA. Colid aid helps for a while, but is it possible that colic aid has caused him constipation? I feel not pooping for 3 days us the reason that is making him cranky. please help.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Crying of a Baby is mostly because of infantile colic and gas related discomfort which is there commonly in night . It can be relieved by medicine like colicaid or gastica drops containing dil oil and feniel oil with semethicone. other reasons could be hunger any illness, nasal blockage,y ear pain, diaper rash and sormetimes more conditions which needs to be ruled out and managed accordingly .
