#asktheexperts I am using nipple shields for my 50 days old baby. However his per count and weight gain are normal. I tried to feed him without shield. But my nipples are paining so much if I feed him directly. Can u continue using the shield? Is tat silicon not dangerous ? Pls help me

Hello mom Yes it is totally fine to continue using a nipple shield to feed your baby so yes you can use it regularly to feed your baby it is totally safe to be used while being a lactating mother. You just have to clean it properly before every use and this is the only precaution you have to take while
