#asktheexperts I am trying to sleep train my 4 month old baby. I do not have any problem in the day time. But during evenings he wakes up once we put him on bed/crib. But he sleeps on my lap. Is it ok to start with sleep routine putting him on my lap ?

A. I would like to tell you it is very difficult to train the child to sleep at time in this age but if you’re doing this it’s good but don’t get the child into the habit of sleeping in the lab because with growing age the child gets to enjoy the lab more they get used to it and it will be very difficult for you to get rid of this you should avoid doing this as of now only
