#asktheexperts hungry at night....drinks around 700 to 800 ml milk at night...fed nicely during day with 4 meals...is it normal to have this quantity of milk? baby weight 13kg...baby born weight 4.5kg

A. hi weight is too good. but please get rid of this night time feeding habit. give heavy food items like rab ,sheera , etc at night time meal or give cup of warm milk before sleep time . it will help to decrease night time waking frequency.

Q. my son is 1 yr and 4 months old. he used to have around 200 to 240 ml milk at night around 3 to 4 am. now from past few days he refuses to take milk and drink 60ml to 100 ml only. I am not sure till what age babies need milk at night. one of my known was feeding milk at night till the age of 3 yrs. kindly guide if I can leave my son without feed through out night as he doesn't wake up for meals. he sleeps around 10.30 pm having 200 ml milk and get up around 8 am
