Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to give any health supplements or calcium or multivitamins to the child but if it is less than your doctor will examine and according to the deficiency the doctor will give medicine but it is at the same timex advisable to go natural by giving diet as per age of the child which contains all the important nutrients and supplements.
usually youx have to give only iron and vitamin d supplements to the child but thatd also in maintenance dosage and not as a deficiency dosage after medical consultation.

ideally ,one can give it till one year age
but frankly speaking,if your child is happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need of such extra medicines.
