#asktheexperts how can i make baby head on round shape , i'm mother of 3 months old girl...she always like to sleep straight now her head is flattened from back

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Flat head in Babies is very common mostly on one side initially when the baby is not flipping on the sides in the first few months . so because of the continuous pressure over the sdoft skull bones such flattening can be there . This will become normal by itself gradually when the skull grow in size and shape wcith age . No musturd seed pillow or any such kind of intervention like massage is required for the corrrction .

Change the position of the head of your child make your child sleep in different different positions that is how you can actually go ahead with giving it properly as it supposed to be also the doctor say after the age of 6 to 8 months when the skull is going to become big it is going to take it shape then also it is going to be perfectly alright

It is very important that you make your child sleep in different postures all the time one time on the right side the other time on the left side to time on the back and then again repeated in the same pattern this is what is going to help in retaining the shape of the head of your child
