Q.

#asktheexperts hlo sir my baby girl is 40 days old.... but she have loose motion green color again and again after feeding milk.... what i can do

A. green stools are normal in babies, but the important is the consistency of it.. if the stool is paste like, soft, & baby is putting on weight green poop is not necessarily a cause for concern. thank s

A. Excess bile can cause green poop. A breastfed baby's poop, as it transitions from meconium to mature milk, may look greenish. Green poop may indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies, which results in your baby is getting a larger portion of foremilk (watery milk) than hindmilk (thicker, fattier milk).
