#asktheexperts Hi, What should be the duration of breastfeeding per feed? My son is 10 days old and he latches on me for more than an hour, still I don't understand whether he is full or not?!

A. That’s Actually tomorrow is mostly even if a child is taking feed for 15 to 20 minutes it’s perfectly alright but if it is more than that that means probably your child is latching on to the breast but not getting sufficient breastfeeding from you consult a lactation doctor once she will be able to guide you correctly on this

Q. My baby is 23 days old and till now m giving top feed and also breastfeeding twice as I had c sec. Now n breastfeeding her she latches on me well..but the moment I take her out of breastfeed she starts crying and put her fingers in mouth again.
