#asktheexperts hi my vaby girl is 14 month old . she had high fever(above 102) 2 days back , consulted with doctor he suggested below medicine . moxvlav bd ,atarex drops,ibugesic plus she dont have fever now , she has wet cough and cold . she is getting exusted whenever she is coughing and not want to eat anything. doctor said continue other mexicine except ibugesic plus .please suggest what should i do

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a propexr dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preffparations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
