#asktheexperts Hi, my MIL had a TB 3 years ago which is now gone but she still coughs sometimes.. is it fine if she carries my newborn close to her..he is 2 weeks old

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. in most of the cases that tuberculosis does not remain after treatment but if she is coughing continuously you should once again get a test done to know whether it has reacure and only then allow the newborn to go near the patient
