#asktheexperts Hi my daughter is 1.7 months old. having a weight of 10.8kg. She is having fever. I gave her pcm but the fever didn't come down. I am having meftal P for high fever. just want to confirm the dosage. pls suggest that how much medicine should I give her & after how much interval. pls suggest

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. better to avoid mefanamic to the baby give only paracetamol safeFever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees
