#asktheexperts hi. My daughter 2.5 months old. She has some abnormal sound when she sleeping and normal times similar like pigeon sound. I don’t know how to say that’s y used pigeon. We consulted doctor they says after 3 to 4 months it will disappear. So, what is cause if this sound.

A. Hello! It can be that your child’s nasal and oral V is not totally developed which can happen gradually, but surely in the next few months. So there can be some kind of weird sounds coming out. As long as the child is not having any physical discomfort, it shouldn’t be a problem. Try giving indirect steam inhalation twice daily.
