#asktheexperts Hi, My baby is 2 months old. And for past 4 days she is not sleeping properly. In total she sleeps for only 10 to 11 hrs in a day. She yawns but not sleeping. At some point she feels overtired, gets extremely cranky and then only sleeping (for max 3 hrs continuously). Any idea on this ?

A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regudlarize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritabilitdy because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
