#asktheexperts Hi my baby is 12weeks now n all of sudden she as started sleeping for more hours (4-5hours) during day time compared to previous week's where she was sleeping 2-3hours. May I know the reason for it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. if the child is sleeping more than normal but the growth of the child is proper and in between activity of the child is normal then no intervention is requirezd but if you feel that the child is lethargic and is not taking feeds properly then medical examination is very important z

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello babies sleep cycle vary especially first few months and ba ies tend to sleep more which is normal and is absolutely nothing to worry and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination
