#asktheexperts hi.. my baby has cow milk allergy .. he is currently on formula - either Aptamil Pepti or Alfamino . What kind of solids do I give him once crosses 6 months ? Cerelac has milk in it so possibly won't be able to give him. please suggest other alternatives. thank you

A. Hello mom you can opt for home cooked foods that are much.better option as well initially start with liquid consistency foods such as dal or rice. Water or vegetable soup or fresh fruit juices and once baby accepts them well you can opt for soft and semi solid consistency foods such as steamed vegetables, mashed fruit pulps , porridge made with ragi or suji or multigrain mix , Kichidi etc
