#asktheexperts hi i had given 3.5 month vaccination to my baby on 16 sept from. govt hospital. on left leg she was having pain and till today she is not kicking or moving her left leg and keeping the same folded and just moving and kicking only her right leg

A. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomenftation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointmgent can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving a warm compress on the paining area. Gradually start massaging with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. If the problem is persistent then consult your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
