#asktheexperts Hi I am having cervix length of 2.7cm at 29 weeks. Is this fine. Doctor told to have pelvic rest but I am taking rest as much as possible by lying on bed most of the time. What all should I look into at this time. I am 31 weeks now.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. having short serviks yes you need to continue bed rest till about 36 weeks of pregnancy so as to avoid any chances of Pre term delivery and have regular follow up check with your doctor
