#asktheexperts Hi, either my nipples are too soft or because of baby is drooling..She is not able to latch properly and get fussy and irritated... please suggest how to fix this... Do I need to wear correct inner wear or what could be other solution

Jasmine Shiny DsouzaMom of a 5 yr 4 m old child5 years agoA. you have to hold in scissor hold. or if there is much heavy flow even you can use a breast pump and remove the little amount and then you can feed the child

Jasmine Shiny DsouzaMom of a 5 yr 4 m old child5 years agoA. hi mom. you can use a nursing bra while you are feeding your child as it will not press the nipples much and will not have much pain or irritation. if a child is not able to latch properly then it can be because of shortness of the nipples or also maybe because there is heavy breast milk flow. just find out the reason first and if there is heavy milk flow then you have to hold in a Caesaeen section
