#asktheexperts Hi Dr. , my son is 1.9 yrs old..he doesn't sleep without mother feed or bottle...and wakes up 2-3 times at night. Is this normal? How can I make him sleep whole night without milk? We try to pay/rock when he wakes up but he cries a lot if milk is not given. Also, the situation is same even if he had proper dinner.

Namaste Mom, One is it could be due to habit as well, as he has got used to the pattern some times try to give him water or make reasons of no milk etc and excuse, would be difficult initially but will work , ignore to the demands, talk to him, his diet should consist of regular family foods now , and give milk at dinner time
